Break-out 1: Getting started on your climate emergency response

This session is aimed at councils that have recently begun their climate emergency journey or are considering declaring. It will be facilitated by Tiffany Harrison, Gippsland Alliance for Climate Action.

This session is aimed at councils that are looking to take their climate emergency planning and response to the next level. It will be facilitated by Victoria Hart, Merri-Bek City Council.

This session will highlight key approaches to, and pieces of, advocacy work in the climate emergency. It will be facilitated by Karen Gardham, Victorian Climate Resilient Councils.
Break-out 4: Moondani Balluk Garden Tour and Talk
Moondani Balluk Garden + Room G105
This session will include a tour of the garden at the Moondani Balluk Indigenous Academic Unit and talk about the plants and insects in the garden, the process of bringing the garden to life and how this fits in with caring for country and restoring ecosystems - with Megan O'Shea, Honorary Research Fellow, The GREEN Lab @ Iramoo, Victoria University.
