Invite your councillors to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the world's first climate declaration by becoming part of a global movement. Download and adapt our template letter. Regardless of whether they have already declared, encourage them to join CEA if they haven't already.

Resources for communitiesIf you're part of a community group or an individual who is trying to encourage your councils to declare, there are lots of resources available from our friends at CACE online, including how to build a campaign, get people on board, and approach your councillors. There are also useful resources at Climate Emergency Declaration - Call to declare a climate emergency. Just be aware that some of these resources have been out there since the first wave of declarations, so you may need to do some updating!
